Flexinet was originally established in 1991 in King William’s Town, Eastern Cape, under the name Woodprojects. The company later transitioned to Flexinet Plastics, and in 2012, under new ownership, it was rebranded as Flexinet SA (Pty) Ltd. Along with this transition, the company relocated its operations to Krugersdorp in Gauteng.

The extruded netting process, originally developed in the United Kingdom, is now widely used globally, including in South Africa. This plastic extrusion technology is versatile and applied across various industries, including food packaging, industrial sectors, civil engineering, and domestic applications.

Flexinet proudly services clients across all nine provinces of South Africa, as well as in Namibia and Botswana. We are actively expanding our footprint further into the African market to meet growing demand and new opportunities.
